EBCBOR’s Community Service Committee will host a ‘Knit for the Troops Night’ to craft wool helmet liners for U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. The helmet liners will be sent to the troops to keep them warm during the evenings in Iraq and while in the frigid temperatures of the Afghani Mountains.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on February 25 at the 3.75 Realty Group Office located at 145 County Road in Cresskill, N.J.

All members of the public are invited to join the cause by donating wool yarn and/or knitting needles (size 8-16”). For safety reasons, yarn must be 100 percent wool and only black, charcoal, brown, tan, gray or a combination of these colors are permitted.
