 Announce Consolidation

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – The Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors® and the Realsource Association of Realtors® announced on October 12th after a membership vote their plan on consolidating the remaining two associations in Bergen County, NJ.  With this consolidation, the new entity will become the third largest association of Realtors® servicing over 7,500 real estate professionals.

The consolidation will bring new opportunities and member benefits to real estate professionals not only in Bergen County, but also members in Hudson and Passaic counties. This will bring about new and innovative technologies, more services to the membership. Additionally, with the consolidation, the new association will have a more powerful impact on a local state and national level in advocacy and homeownership rights.

Jorge Ledesma, CEO said “As the Real Estate industry continues to evolve, so must realtor trade associations. Although both organizations have their own unique benefits, we understand that our strength is in our numbers. As one association we will have a broader reach and greater exposure to new opportunities. We are excited for the consolidation ahead and understand that today’s changes will be the foundation for tomorrow’s success. “

EBCBOR 2018 President, Basil Singh says “This consolidation was something that both organizations needed in order to have a stronger voice on all levels. I am honored to have been a part of this monumental historical endeavor that will bring about unity, inclusion, and better benefits and resources to real estate professionals in Bergen County and surrounding areas.”
