EBCBOR Realtors® Care Foundation Provides 15 Local Organizations with over

$67,000 in Grant Monies

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – Giving back has been an instrumental component of the Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors® philosophy since its establishment in 1924. Through the REALTORS® Care Foundation which was established in 2015, EBCBOR has been able to award over $215,000.00 to local organizations throughout the Bergen County area.

This year has been particularly spectacular for the organization as they had a phenomenal turnout at their annual golf and tennis outing-raising over $20,000.00. A total of $67,500.00 was awarded to 15 organizations in Bergen County at this year’s annual Realtors® Care Foundation luncheon. This of course could not have been possible without the partnership EBCOR has with NJMLS.

The 2018 grant recipients included: Boys and Girls Club of Lodi/Hackensack, Alliance Against Homelessness, Family Promise of Bergen County, Center for Food Action, Association of NJ Environmental, Center for Hope and Safety, Project Literacy of Bergen County, Rebuilding Together North Jersey, Southeast Senior Center for Independent Living, Spectrum for Living, Transition Professionals, Vantage Health Systems, Bergen Volunteer Center, Women's Rights Information Center, and YCS.

2018 Realtors Care Foundation President, Annekee Brahver-Keely said, “It was a true honor to welcome back so many known faces at this year’s Realtors Care Foundation Luncheon. As president, and on behalf of all Trustees of the foundation, I am extremely proud to have renewed grants and to reach new worthwhile programs with new grants for their upcoming projects in 2019. We are ager and look forward to continuing to raise more money and to be able to continue our charitable and philanthropic efforts in giving back to our communities”.

EBCBOR, chartered in 1923, has served Realtors and consumers in Bergen County for more than 90 years. As a not-for-profit trade organization, it represents over 4,500 Realtor members in Bergen and Hudson Counties. EBCBOR is dedicated to enhancing the business opportunities of its membership by providing them with industry information, political advocacy and educational opportunities.
