EBCBOR® gets recognized at the Triple Play Convention in Atlantic City.

(Hasbrouck Height, NJ – December 2017) – The Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS attended the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo in Atlantic City earlier this month where over 7000 REALTORS and Industry professionals were in attendance. The Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® hosted their annual hospitality suite where members were able to relax and enjoy some food and network with colleagues and friends.
At the New Jersey REALTORS® Awards ceremony, the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® was recognized with the NJ Realtors 2017 Communications Award for ‘Best Social Media’. This is a prestigious award presented to one association in the state that has successfully worked to communicate with their membership through social media outlets.
Jennifer Mejia, Communications Coordinator accepted the award on behalf of the Association. “It is an honor to have been able to accept this award on behalf of the association,” she said “we are living at a time where attention is the new currency, and making sure that we are capturing our members’ attention and educating them about current trending issues is vital. It is refreshing to see that we as an association are doing what we can to keep the conversation going with our members through other means than just face to face interaction.”
In addition to EBCBOR’s recognition, the 2018 incoming President, Chandrika ‘Basil’ Singh was presented with a plaque naming him the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® 2017 REALTOR® of the Year.
The annual REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes one member of the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® who demonstrates a commitment to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, promotes good real estate practices among fellow real estate licensees and the general public, and dedicates time to perform charitable work in the community.
EBCBOR, chartered in 1923, has served Realtors and consumers in Bergen and Hudson counties for more than 90 years. A not-for-profit trade organization, representing over 4,000 Realtor members, EBCBOR is dedicated to enhancing the success of its membership by providing them with political advocacy, community outreach and educational opportunities.
