_____ Awards Selection & Verification: Responsible for the verification of applications for the NJAR® Circle of Excellence Awards and selection of the EBCBOR REALTOR® of the Year, EBCBOR Rookie Salesperson of the Year and Good Neighbor Awards.

_____ Communications: Promotes EBCBOR, the REALTOR® image in Bergen County, member benefits and industry relations.

_____ Community Service & Outreach: Works for the betterment of our communities through planning community outreach and volunteer initiatives.

_____ Equal Opportunity & Cultural Diversity: Works to further fair housing and eliminate anti-discriminatory practices. Cultivates programs with Global Business Council to engage and meet the needs of our diverse membership.

 

_____ GLOBAL COUNCIL: Dedicated to globally themed education, programming, and networking for EBCBOR members. The council, comprised of volunteers and staff liaisons, takes the lead in planning global programs, hosting CIPS courses, and collaborating with neighboring boards to build awareness among members of the global business opportunities that surround them.

_____ Grievance: Responsible for reviewing Ethics Complaints and Arbitration Requests to determine if a complaint warrants a hearing before a Professional Standards Hearing Panel. Prepares members for service on the Professional Standards Committee.

_____ Legislative & Political Affairs: Monitors legislation that affects REALTORS® and encourages members to participate in the political process. Interviews and supports legislative candidates who promote REALTOR® issues and private property rights.

_____ Professional Development (Education): Evaluates the curriculum initiatives to enhance the professionalism and productivity of the members.

 

_____PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Must serve on Grievance Committee for 3 consecutive years to be eligible.

_____ Broker Council/Risk Management: Alerts members to the changes in the rules and regulations of the New Jersey Real Estate Commission and educates members on their exposure to legal liability.

_____ RPAC: Raises funds annually for the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Interviews and supports legislative candidates who promote REALTOR® issues and private property rights.

_____ Young Professionals Network Committee: Organizes opportunities for new REALTOR® professionals to enhance their career via networking, education and community service.
